Lose Belly Fat
It may be the ultimate health and weight loss question: “Is there really an easy way to lose the fat?”
Yes, and No. Yes, there is a way to lose fat, burn off those stubborn calories and remove pounds including fat from your body. There is also a certain amount of discipline and work that will be required if you want to see results.
The good news is it doesn’t have to be difficult and there are some easy and simple things to do to get started that will bring about measurable results.
Here are some of the reasons that you may be overweight:
* You are continually eating the wrong foods.
* You are consuming the wrong types of calories from your food.
* You are eating at the wrong times each day.
* You are eating the wrong amounts of food per meal.
Food can be the enemy or your friend, when it comes to fat loss and weight issues.
It can actually be a powerful ally if you just make some changes with regard to the types of food and the amounts you eat every day. You don’t have to work out like a maniac and join a gym and hire a trainer and go at it for 10 – 14 hours per week, if you simply change the kind of food you are ingesting and stop eating at certain times of the day, or night. In other words, It will only take you a couple of minutes to eat a big cheeseburger, but it takes hours to burn it off! You need to face the root of the problem if you want to get long lasting results.
Use some common sense and understand that gaining or losing weight is the simplest of all equations. When you are not burning off more calories than you are consuming, then you will be adding weight instead of losing weight or fat. Take a look at some of the vast number of resources available on the internet and do some research. After all, the web isn’t just for internet dating and social networking!
There are resources available all over the web including on this very web page.
Besides the many fat free and fat loss diets that are around today, there are also calorie reduction diets and the alkaline diet. Eat more alkaline rich foods and less of the acid forming foods. Have more raw food and less cooked food in the diet. Also make sure you are drinking plenty of water. Many times, food cravings are misread and are actually dehydration being mistaken for hunger pangs. If you simply drink more fluids you may lose weight faster.

Naturally you will want to avoid fast foods, junk foods and sweets. I know this sounds really obvious, but you would be amazed at the number of people who really don’t realize that. Don’t get obsessed with your fat loss plan or else you may end up overdoing it in the beginning and then going hard in the other direction and binge eating to compensate for a feeling of being deprived of the foods you are craving.
The best way to loss fat and do it the healthy way is to transition your diet to a more healthy one little by little. If you are eating sweets every day, try having one or two cookies instead of half a box. Don’t eat a pound of pasta, but just eat half. Skip that soda every other meal until you can do without it at all. And lay off the diet products. They don’t really help and they have far too much of destructive artificial sweeteners like aspartame, which is very unhealthy to consume in large quantities.
Any body, no matter how long you have been eating poorly, will eventually re-learn new habits and drop the old ones. When you start to eat fresh fruits and more salads and give up the sweets and junk food and empty calories, your cravings will start to disappear and you will not want to eat those potato chips and cheeseburgers anymore. A fresh bowl of ice cold watermelon is a great snack after a long walk or run and it’s full of vitamins and minerals.
Don’t snack or eat very late at night, since that will be hard to burn those calories off. If you have to snack, make it some fruit or a healthy snack bar or granola bar. They are much more tasty than they used to be and some are actually like candy bars but without the sugar and chocolate.
