What is a really good weight loss diet program?




I want to get a head start on weight loss for the new year. I don’t have a lot of extra time, so an online program would be best for me. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I have ordered the Nutrisystem Diet foods and haven’t received it yet. I was wondering what the foods were comparible to as far as taste.

I have been trying to lose 30 pounds. I workout 5 days a weeks and walk about 2 miles per day. My personal trainer has told me to lose weight I should eat 5 small meals per day instead of losing the weight I have gained 10 pounds. I know muscle weighs more than fat but I am not adding muscle just lean muscle, so is there something else I can do?

I always thought that it was a sign that you are loosing weight when you are dieting are are always hungry, but someone recently told me that being hungry is a sign that your metabolism is slowing down. How does feeling hungry affect weight loss while dieting?

How beneficial is taekwondo in losing weight?




I started taking taekwondo. Even as a beginner I get quite a work out! I sweat like crazy and do a lot of stretches and basic self defense moves. And yes, it’s in a professional class where I have a one-on-one instructor. I already feel the benefits, but was wondering how well this will aid me in losing weight/inches in the next few weeks were I to do this 3-5 days a week.
Just to add: I have a fantastic diet. That’s not an issue for me.

How many calories do you burn in spinning?




I take a spinning class three - four times a week, and it lasts an hour, although I do spin for about 20 minutes before the actual class.
I’ve been looking this up on numerous websites, but they tell me that it burns 400 calories an hour, but I heard you can burn at least 500 calories every half hour, which sounds more reasonable.

Can someone please tell me an accurate number?

How come my abs are never sore after I exercise?




I am really out of shape and just had a baby. So I started doing sit ups and those sit ups where you twist from side to side (not sure what they are called). I do them everyday to the point of exhaustion but my abs are never sore in the following days. Does this mean I am not doing them right and will not get results?

I am 5′9” 150 pounds and about 11.8% body fat. I am wondering what is a healthy range for males and also how low does the percentage have to be to start seeing abs.
