I am starting a health/diet/nutrition/weight loss/exercise/etc website, because obesity is a growing problem in America and I want to help. I am a Biology major at Boston College and understand some of the biological aspects of nutrition and gaining fat. I have some ideas of what to put on the site, but if you were going to a website like this to try and lose weight/get in shape, what would you want? What would you want information on? Weight loss plans? Nutritional label reading guide? Incentives for losing weight? More information on metabolism and fat? Consequences of eating unhealthy food? Please give me any ideas that you have, and let me know if you think this would be a successful website.

Also, what is the cost & how much weight have you lost while taking it? I’m going on a cruise in March and would love to lose at least 50 lbs. by then.
I actually am 100 lbs. over weight, and so I picked 50 lbs. to lose from now until March hoping that it’s a more reasonable goal.

I’ve heard it said that you can actually fast in short periods of time and it will both aid weightloss as well as clear out your vascular system, bowels, kidneys, liver etc…

But how often and for how long can/should I fast to improve my health, and aid in the process of weightloss?

how can i get killer flat abs?




But I don’t want to lose a lot of weight. Maybe a pound or two, but as far as my weight I am satisfied. But I want my abs to flat and somewhat defined…but not like 1980 Arnold Schwarzenegger abs. So I want a workout plan (in addition, a diet plan wouldn’t be terrible) , hopefully from someone who is like a personal trainer at a gym or something…or just someone who knows what they’re talking about.

weight loss - more lifting or more running!?




DON’T recommend pills or detox diets - they’re stupid! and i don’t want to gain the weight back once i’m able to eat real food again.

I just want to know what a girl should do - more lifting? or more running…because i’ve definitely seen positive side effects in both. but in about 3.5 weeks i need to drop some pounds (and not just number wise) - i need to shrink up a bit (tone). should i just lift like crazy??!

She has hot spots and hair loss around her butt area and on her tail. She scratches excessively. We are treating her hot spots and I am trying to find a food that is suitable to feed her to get rid of the food allergies.

I know Wellness is a good food, but are there other options out there (without a RX for the food) that will be just as good?

I recently started doing yoga becuz everything else left me in pain and I love it,so Ive been doing it everyday and it has been a great start for my day.I dont really need to lose weight but there are certain areas like my thighs and abs that im wondering if i keep it going like i am will yoga tone these areas and make them firmer.

What is a good diet plan for a High School Athele?




I play varsity soccer for my school. We practice 4 times a week for a hour to a hour and a half. One day of two-a-day practice. We total about 7 miles a week right now. Plus playing time. I feel like i need to watch what I eat. What would be a good diet plan to keep me healthy, and help me lose a little?

I’m 111lbs and trying to lose a couple more pounds (specifically around the abs) but I can’t jog or do cardio at the moment because of a lightly sprained ankle. I can manage walking long distances at quite a fast pace, though.
