What is a good workout DVD for burning fat?




I’m looking for a DVD that is new or released within the last year. I need a fat-burning workout. I looked at Ebay and there were so many DVDs that I didn’t know what to choose from. I don’t want anything over 30 minutes either.
If you have a DVD that you work out to, that you absolutely love, please let me know what it is and where I can buy it!
If you would, please tell me a little about it also.

Does Mineral water slow your fat burning process?




I’m talking about Mineral water with CO2. I’ve heard that people who drink this water slower burn fat than people drinking regular water? Is this correct and if it is, how much does it slow your fat burning process?

and not drinking pop, eating celery, canned veggies, and pom wonderful mixed with green tea/chamomile. will this help with fat burning? i know you can’t pick where you want to burn fat, but im really trying to burn the little fat i have on my lower stomach; it bothers me. i have abs on my upper body and under the fat on the lower part.

your 15 minutes into a strenuous work out?

My health teacher said this,
he says that your body doesn’t switch to burning your fat reserves until 15 minutes in.

Also is the reason your not supposed to eat 2 hours before exercise so your body wont just burn the food you just at? or is it to keep from cramping?

I am not eating carbs. I am trying to keep my blood sugar low. Even though I am burning fat (look slimmer) why am I still getting high blood sugar readings? They are often 135-140. I am a type two diabetic.

If I am not taking in carbs then why is the sugar still a bit high?
Yes I am on medication. I just want to know why these things happen. If you knew anything about diabetes you would know that eating carbs is NOT good for diabetics so please do not give me crap and tell me to go to the doctor. I have already done that. Thanks.
I have also worked in health care closely with diabetics for 12 years. Please do not answer the question if you are going to tell me to go to the doctor. It is stupid to assume that getting opinions on things like this is a bad thing. Other diabetics usually know more about diabetes than doctors do. Mainly because they have a reason to study it instead of looking into a small book and shoving you on more medications.

What should my heart rate be for burning fat?




Basically i am 27 i have just got a new execise bike and wondered what the ideal heart rate for fat burning should be?

I go to the gym 4x a week and do some lifting, mainly my arms, chest, back, and abs. I do a little with my legs sometimes but not really that much. I want to concentrate on these areas with the muscle building, but i have some stubborn fat around my stomach that really doesn’t want to go away…

What can I do to help build muscle while burning away some of that fat? Like what foods should i eat?, etc?

I’m looking for the best one that is really good at burning fat. I’ve heard very good things about Turbo Jam and Tae Bo. Please help me with this. I am looking for good music, good moves, good instructor. I want to enjoy working out, and something I won’t get tired of.

I’m watching a show about people who are undergoing weight loss surgeries, and I want to know what happens to fat that’s cut off of their bodies? It’s possible it could be incinerated after the surgery, but if it is, what do they do with the ashes?? I really would like to know the answer to this.

I go to the gym and I’m trying to lose a couple of extra pounds. The treadmill implies that a lower intensity workout (60% of maximum heart rate) is best for burning fat. However, I’ve read otherwise: doing a high-intensity workout (80% of maximum heart rate) is more efficient since it boosts your metabolism. Does anyone have any insight about this>

I am having a hard time getting back to fat burning mode even though I have stayed at 25 carbs per day and workout 2 hours per day, 5 times per week. I was wondering if there is something that can help kick back into fat burning mode so I can go back to 40 carbs per day or more and still loose weight.

Folks, I know I feel warmed-up when I toss some powdered or flaked plain (unsalted) chili pepper or cayenne pepper in a glass with filtered water, and toss that back. Even, it makes my scalp sweat! Any use in trying to lose weight? I mean, are any peppers PROVEN to help with burning fat/weight-loss?
(Look, I already walk 2 hours/day, eat less than I would like… Just, I want to do EVERYTHING I can, and so, I would like to hear from people who got results with pepper(s) – various types.)
Further, I have no access (or interest in getting) in maple syrup. Is it really important? I mean, I don’t care about taste; I’ll drink/eat anything that will help take off the weight. Also, I have heaps and heaps of various types of pepper: cayenne, habanero, chili… Do any OTHER peppers help with weight-loss, or, is it just cayenne?
