Well spring is here and summer is just around the corner! And I’ve been dying to get rid of my love handles for this new bathing suit I bought. Anybody have some tips to lose the "love"?

Up your routine. You’re going to need to devote at least 30 minutes EVERY DAY to cardio. Running would be best, but swimming and biking will suffice so long as your heartrate is up for the duration fo the exercise. If you can hold a conversation while running, however, you may be going too slow.
Weights are another important part of losing weight. You’ll need to build some muscle. every pound of muscle you have burns about 25 calories over the course of a day jus tbe virtue of being muscles, so if you maintain the muscle you have with good resistance exercises you should start seeing weight loss. Also, do all sorts of ab exercises, not just crunches. There are weight-training ab exercises that work wonders on your stomach, and strengthening your core will strengthen your whole body and help you through the other aspects of your routine.
As for food, cut back. Doesn’t really matter what you eat if you stay consistent with exercise, so long as it’s small portions. Obviously the healthier you eat the better you will feel, but energy/stamina are important, too. Keep your diet balanced and moderate, but if you really are working out regularly, don’t go hungry- it’ll make your body think you’re starving to death nad encourage food to be stored as fat more than being used for immediate fuel.
Here’s my advice
Week 1-3
- 30 min cardio every day
- Lifting 2-3 times a week, 30 min sets
- Keep calorie intake below 2500/day
- Space out eating over the course of the whole day, not just meals
Week 3-6
- 45 min cardio (encorporate sprints, not just stamina) every day with longer rests in between exercies
- 30 minutes lifting 3-4 times a week
-Drop calorie intake to 2250/day
-maintain diet routine
The sprints (run, bike, swim) will train your body to work as a complete unit, not just letting your legs and lungs do all the work. Using your whole body in an exercise will burn even more calories and help tone your muscles/physique. Rests train your body to burn fat more consistently. 3-5 minutes between hard sprint drill should do the trick.
A final note- drink more water! Cut out any drinks that have calories in them except gatorade (only if it’s really hot and you just worked out really hard) and milk. Beer/wine is alright with a meal since it helps digestion and loosens you up, but a beer packs enough calories to outweigh a sub sandwich, so be weary. Water’s your best bet, plus drinking a tall glass of cold water on an empty stomach burns 50-200 calories just in the energy it takes to warm the water up to your body’s temperature.
I six weeks you ought to start seeing some real results. After two months you’ll see the weight begin to just fall off.
Only one great, best tip! :
Do cardio exercises. At least 20 minutes per day and you will get rid of love handles easily!
Losing a few pounds by eating right and exercising will help! Grab a 5-10lb weight in one hand and lean to one side for ten reps. then switch hands (with the weight) and do the same on the other side! your "lovers" will be killin!
