		<description>Yes it is, as long as your diet is in order too.  All the exercise in the world won&#039;t help you reach your goals if you&#039;re eating the wrong foods.  So by all means do yoga, but eat right at the same time and you&#039;ll lose weight and tone muscle.</description>

Most will do nothing for weight loss however Ashtanga Vinyasa yoga is more dynamic which will increase your resting heart rate and includes movements such as slow press ups and warrior poses which will tone arms and legs.

Only someone who is already quite slim will notice the subtle difference from soft exercise such as yoga.

If you really need to lose weight you&#039;ll have work within at least 70% of your maximum heart rate forn at least 30 - 50 minutes at least 3-5 days per week.

There&#039;s no way around breaking into a sweat if you are serious about wanting to see results.</description>
