Okay So.. I’m About 5 ft 5.5 .. In some rare cases 5 ft 6. lol.. I am MALE .. and I weigh in at about 185-190 Believe it or not… I always ask people how much they think I was I always get somewhere between 150 – 169.. and I think Its soooo Cute that they think that lol and then when I say I’m pushing Very Close to 200 they get very shocked… lol Now I have Semi Broad Shoulders and Chest I suppose….I look Muscular I look like I work out. I look like a Pump my arms alot..and I look like I’m VERY good at football.. and Truth be told.. That 25 pound dumbbell be killing me after 10 min..and leaves me sore the next day… and football?.. lol Yeah ok….

Since I’m 5.5 I noticed that according to theory I’m like Extremely Obese.. lol… or as the calculator says.. "skating on the edge of morbid obesity" … So I’m suppose to be any where between 111 lbs and 150 lbs ..lol I think Its funny Because I know My head is going to get Way bigger than it is now.. lol… I use to weight 140… about that yeah… Idk what happened. So I wann lose some pounds before college

I have a Bally’s membership (Death sentence I know… but hey at 35 bucks a month and unlimited everything including classes You can’t beat it.. although I am thinking about switching to NYSC.. But its 86 bucks I don’t have monthly.. Idk that another story lol ) and I was thinking about increasing my Activity..

heres what I’m have been doing 30 min on the bike ( I get up and my ass is killing me) then I got do 1 hour on the Eliptacator. (yup 800 plus calories can’t beat it :) ) and then 20min – 1 hour on that running thing.. Idk what its called… lol it has bars and you hold on to it.. Not the treadmill.. (hate that thing I don’t like when my thighs rub together and cause friction and produces heat you can fry an egg in.. and then you get itchy.. yuk.) put its almost like the elipticator except it doesn’t go up.. its just leveled. and the handels move with you..

ANYWAY… I want to be smaller.. and I want to get into Palates.. but I have no clue what ima be getting my self into and I feel as though People would think I’m too big to do them.. same with yoga. I also Wanna so a Kwando class they offer.. Idk I hear it funner on your weight loss journey when you switch things up.. I was thinking about a spin class but when I think of that I think of heart attack…

Anyway.. I ‘m really interested in Palates tho what do you think?… Oh and I guess yoga too.. lol
I was thinking drop some pounds and the start the bending of sexual positions,,, I mean Palates would It be soo bad if I loose some muscle?.. I guess I’ll be smaller ?

Any Reliable Teen Weight Loss Solutions?




So I went online to a BMI calculator. I entered in my height ( 5ft. 8in. ) and my weight ( 194lbs. ). The calculator told me I had a BMI of 29.5. Which is .5 away from being obese. This scares me… a lot! I need to know some weight loss solutions for teens ( I am 15 years old, male ) that really work and give me good results. I’m not going for muscles or anything like that. For now, I want to get to a weight of 140 – 150lbs. Please help me.

I’m not sure if this is relevant but I have a BMR ( Basal Metabolic Rate ) of 2036.22, which means if i were to stay in bed all day, I would burn 2036.22 calories.

Please help me with this nutrition plan?




I am a 24 year old male, whos height is 5’7, and I weigh a little under 240. My target goal is between 170-180,with muscle. I am told that my target weight for my height is between 145 to 172. But i am shooting for anything between 170-180 with good muscle tone. I will be working out between 4-5 days a week depending on schedule. This involves cardio,starting off light jogging,then move to sprinting when i start to shed pounds, then more intense cardio like seen in p90x. I will also be lifting weight for about 30 min to an hour a day,3-5 days a week depending on schedule.

I am cutting my calories to around 1904 from what a calories calculator reading said. I take precision engineering protein as well. I was told to have 1g of protein per pound of my desired body weight. That would be 178 grams of protein,and if I use the shakes for this,with two scoops in each shake,it comes out to around 5 shakes a day,with one of the shakes only having one scoop. I do use water for my shakes so I am not adding anything else to it. This comes out to 900 calories so far for the day. I am wondering if this is wrong in any way. The info I got is mostly from mens fitness big book of excersises. i NEED help determining if the info I have so far is right. And if so, what can i eat through out the day to maintain the 1904 calorie intake. I am choosing 1904 because the calcolator said I needed that many for extreme weight loss for someone who works out 4-5 days a week,which is what i will be doing starting next week.

I’m 14, I used to be like 115, now I’m at 140. I’m pretty strong, I workout 18 hours a week. I run 3-4 times a week. But I also eat 3500 calories a day to help me bulk up. I’ve gained some chub with the muscle, is there a way to burn it while still gaining? i have some hefty love handles.

Calories in versus Calories Burned?




So the new thing some trainers are promoting is Calories in VS. Calories Burned. That makes sense….assuming you know how many approx. calories you burn all day (either using a bodybugg, or online calculator). Assuming you eat less calories than that number a day…you should in reality…lose weight right?

So here’s the scenario. On Average let’s say you burn 2500 calories a day…meaning to lose weight you either should eat 2000 calories a day, or 1500 for extreme weight loss. Let’s say you put down 1800 calories a day…but a large majority of those calories are from fast food (not saying i’d do it) like McDonalds, Taco Bell, Burger King..etc…

Do you still lose weight?

is it really wrong to take pills for weight loss?




i’ve always been overweight i used to eat 5 meals a day. now i eat 3 meals a day never more than 1500 calories a day.i walk or do yoga 2 or 3 times a week. i’m a girl 14 5’5 and 270 pounds.i haven’t been seeing any differences in my body so i started taking the NV beauty & weight loss pill. it makes me not feel hungry all day with just one pill and speeds up my metabolism. i also take one-a-day teenage multivitamin so i don’t get dry hair/skin or whatever while i’m dieting. is their any risks to taking this pill i really don’t see the harm in it

I did a BMR calculator and it said that I burn 1,449 calories a day doing nothing. So I’ve been eating 1,200 calories a day and burning 600 calories through exersize and I should be losing weight because I’m burning more calories then I eat everyday, but I’m not losing ANY weight.

I used to eat 800 calories a day and I was losing weight but I found out how unhealthy it was. But now that I’ve changed my diet Ive stopped losing weight.

It there any reason for this?
Could it be a weight loss plataeu?, and if it is how do i break out of it?

Hey:

Okay, so I’m 14 and my sister is 12 and we both want to start working out; not just for weight loss, because honestly we’re pretty thin as we are and she’s even more slim than me. But either way, we wanna do it for the lungs and the heart; not to mention how powerful you feel post-working out. I wanna be in my mid 40′s and look back on this and look as if I’m in my early 30′s like Jennifer Aniston.
Anyway, we’re starting to do Pilates 2 times a week and the other 3 weekdays, we’re gonna work out at the gym for 45 minutes and then jog for another 45 minutes and then bike for another half hour. I want to work out 6 days a week, 2 hours a day.

Then, on Saturday, I might take up some yoga occasionally and I’m going to take a dancing class or just swim or do something to stay active. I’m thinking about either taking Sunday off or making it optional rather than mandatory. I want to be strict with my food, too; I want to eat 5 small meals a day and lots of veggies, fruits and drink tons of water. First, I guess I’m gonna start off as a thing that I feel I must do but I hoping the purpose of it will change through time and eventually, I will gradually feel it’s more of a habit and take it seriously and as importantly as brushing your teeth or heck even taking a shower! Bottom line, I wanna cut down carbs, not exceed my strict-policy, no-exception limit to 1,200 calories a day (if possible, less) and I’m gonna do lots of cardio, aerobics and weights.

Easy things like excluding some whip cream on my coffee, not adding a topping to my ice cream, eating protein without rice, and other things like that.

Can you help me out with my fast weight loss plan?




I’ma girl, 20 years old. I’m 5’3" and 128lbs (just over 9 stone). I haven’t been happy with my weight for a long, long time. Its my own fault really, lacking in motivation and get-up and go. Really I’ve just had enough and I want to lose a stone or more for anoccasionn I have coming up in October, so I’ve devised my own weight loss plan. Now before I tell you, I know that it’s probably not the healthiest, I know that the guideline weight loss is 2lb a week, I know all of that. I’m just looking for facts here, not criticism.
My plan is this: (7 days a week) To get up in the mornings and walk for an hour with my doggy.. Then to do an hour on my exercise bike.. And an hour of yoga.. This is teamed with a dramatic cut in calories to, like, 600-700 a day (unhealthy blah blah). I have slow metabolism.
Basically I just wanna know stuff like: how much people think this would make me lose and in what space of time?

How long will it take me to lose weight?




I’m 16 years old, 5′ 3", and 138 lbs.
I want to get down to at most 130 and at the very least 125. I’d like to be 130 by september.
I eat about 1200 calories a day and exercise everyday…so mathematically I think I should lose about 2 lbs per week so I should achieve said goal but I don’t know what other factors go into weight loss. Is there a website with a good calculator and/or timeline for weight loss? Thank you:)

I don't understand!! weight loss help?




I have been on a diet and exercise regime for around 2 years now. My calorie intake is 1500 calories, I do yoga and jump rope and crunches 4-5 mornings a week. I try and eat healthy food (fruits, lean meat..).
But I can’t seem to lose any weight! At the beginning my weight went down slowly, but now not at all! I even seem to gain a little! And it’s not because I’m getting muscular!
I was just wondering if the time of day that you eat makes a difference or if there are any supplements that help burn fat, promote weight loss….? I heard green tea is supposed to help. I don’t know if that works, or what other things there are.
If anybody has any information, that would be great!

I want to know what you guys think I should do. I want to lose some weight, go down a pant size or two, tone up, stop jiggling, whatever you want to call it. I’m not very chubby, but I want to lose maybe 10-20 lbs. My problem areas are lower stomach (belly button area), upper and inner thighs, and those stupid dreaded love handles. I eat low calories and low sugar already, so PLEASE do not tell me to do that. I don’t eat lots of calories, I consume minimal white carbs, I eat plenty of veggies and fruits, I drink about 2 liters of water a day and almost nothing else, no sugar really… I have dance for 30 or more minutes everyday, I do some yoga everyday, and sometimes more pilates and things. But, my problem areas are not slimming down. They aren’t getting bigger necessarily, but I want them to slim down. I don’t care what I have to do, healthy or not as much healthy, I just want fast weight loss now. I was thinking some kind of cleanse might help, but I’m not sure. ANY IDEAS please let me know. Oh, and I’m an 18 year old girl, if that matters.

A weight loss question?




I’m just curious how much weight I can lose…
I am 17, about 5′ 4" and 131-133 lbs
I am a vegetarian and I eat 4 small meals, an average of 1200 to 1600 calories a day. I dont eat junk food, fast food or soda.
My workout schedule looks like this
Monday and Wednesdays – Cardio Kickboxing for 70 minutes
Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays – ZUMBA!!
I might start swimming more and go to yoga more

I really want to lose at least 10 pounds by the end of summer and lose a few inches in my waist, that way i can get to 120. Then my ideal would be 110-115.

I started this excercise plan about 3 weeks ago and just yesterday it said i lost 2 pounds, but knowing my body it will go right back up. Is there anyway to make weight loss go faster? No pills or surgery, any tips or anything that might help?

will a see a good amount of…?




weight loss if i stick to this routine for a few weeks?
monday-friday 45 minutes running/walking, gym 30-60 minutes (bike and elliptical and machines)
tues& thursday 50 minutes of hip hop dancing
saturday and sunday-gym, or workout video.

i eat fairly healthy i strive for 1,200 calories a day and my food consists of:
breakfast: fiber 1 cereal with a fruit, or 2 eggs with a fruit.
lunch: 1/2 jelly sandwhich 2 fruits 1 veggie
snack fruit or veggie
dinner fruits and veggies along with tuna or soup or a little bit of what i make for my parents (it varies. pizza, pasta anything)
snack veggie or and cottage cheese

lately i’ve been kinda on a plateau and haven’t lost much weight, so i switched up my exercise routine. do you think this will work? im looking to loose 10 pounds and my belly fat by march 31. im 120 and 5 foot 1/2 inch. please don’t tell me my weight is fine now. ive checked the bmi calculator for 110 and it’s still in the normal range. thanks everyone :)
