I’m 5’2, and weigh 122 lbs. I want to get to around 110. I don’t ever work out or anything, I work at a desk so I’m sitting alot. I’ve used many calorie calculators online to see how many calories a day I should eat to lose weight, but I get different numbers on every one. Right now I eat 1100 calories a day, and am losing weight, but I’m afraid this might not be enough. I don’t starve myself, I eat alot of avocados, wheat bread, chicken, nuts, olive oil etc. Can anyone tell me what the right amount of calories are for me? Or is 1100 good since I don’t exercise?

Oh and I’m terrified of losing my hair while dieting so if anyone has any tips that would be great!

Ok so Im NOT obese or anything like that, but I have more fat around my thighs and midsection than I would prefer. What is a good exercise or workout that can help me reduce it?

I want to go a diet because I have gained about 10-15 pounds and I can’t fit into some of my pants and I feel so horrible. Can someone please give me a great diet plan that doesn’t involve a lot of exercise. I’m not lazy of anything but I have to go to school and work and everything so I really don’t have time for exercise.

I need to have flat abs by June 2, 2010. I’m a 14 year old girl who is 5’1 inches tall and weighs 121 pounds. I want to have a flat stomach. What are some exercise tips to get flat abs fast? By the way, do not tell me that I’m too young to be worrying about this kind of stuff.

My friend is 15 years old and she is not content with her weight at the moment. She is about 124-125 pounds and she’s 5’3". She wants to be 110. Is there any safe way for her to reach her goal? I don’t want just the plain "diet and exercise" answer. Please be specific!

I have cheerleading camps almost every day for the next 3 weeks so i dont have much time every day to work out but i do have a good few hours.

i think thats it..
i dont have a lot of time or money to go and buy some more exercise stuff but please recommend some of that too.
And will full bars help me?? I’ve wanted to try them but need to know if they work first!

I am 6’2", 253 lbs, around 31% body fat. I read that with daily exercise, I will burn around 2700 calories a day (I have a sedentary job, but I also bike approx. 7 miles each way to work every morning). The calculator told me to subtract 500 calories per pound from this for your weight loss goal…I want to lose three pounds per week.
1200 calories a day sounds doable, yet a bit low considering (what I think) is a fairly realistic weekly weight loss goal. What do you guys think?

According to the NHS bmi calculator my BMI is 18.5
- 18.5 is underweight but what about 18.5?
Yes I very healthy (balanced – no fad diets)- I prefer fruit and veg to chocolate and I do plenty of exercise.

Well I’ve always had that little bump at the bottom of my stomach, and it bothers me so much! Every ab exercise I do just tones out my upper abs, nothing to my lower abs.. In the past I have got an ab lounge but there was no change using that. What are some good exercises to get rid of the extra fat that actually do work?

I do crunches for upper abs, but I can see them developing faster than my lower abs. What’s an effective exercise to work both the lower abs and that v-shaped muscle underneath?

I’m on a diet but I’m taking hydroxycut hardcore.
I have a very low metabolism so it’s very difficult for me to lose weight just by eating healthy and exercising.
I’ve read a lot of opinions saying that this stuff doesnt work but then again I heard that diet pills dont work on some people. The guy at the GNC took Hydroxycut Hardcore and did NO exercise whatsoever and lost 40 lbs in 3 weeks.
I’d just like to know some opinions and expiriences if you have taken this.

I would like to loose this in about a month. Also an extended plan for 30 pounds in about 3 or 4 months. Thanks so much! And the workout plan should be something able to be done at home. I have a few weights, jump rope, yoga mat, exercise ball and the Wii Fit if this is any help. I really need to loose the weight off my thighs and hips if that helps too.

I am trying to lose weight over summer though I have no specific time range. I’m trying portion control and exercising but I’m not staying loyal to it. I haven’t exercised at all this past two-three weeks and I really need help. I need motivation. There doesn’t seem to be any good or fun exercises. I don’t like exercising over an hour but I really want to lose a few lbs.Any exercise tips or recommendations? I go to the gym and I have a treadmill, punching, hula hoop, and bouncy ball at home. Also, possibly and good food diets? I don’t want to cut things out of my diet (atkins, vegetarian). I’m twelve though but don’t say I’m too young or it’s bad for me, please respect my answer, I’ve heard it all and I don’t care. And advice or diets, tips, etc. Thank you! I appreciate your time and help!
