Is it true that if you work out your abs everyday that you won’t get results because it will plateau?
I’m 5 8, weigh about 130 pounds, and I’m pretty skinny.
I just want to get rid of this belly i have.
It’s funny because when I eat it pops out like a balloon

i have attempted weight loss vigorously, i excercise a lot, and i eat i think pretty healthy. i’ve been doing this a week or 2, and i know there will not be any substancial difference, but my weight is going UP. i was wondering maybe im not doing the right exercises or eating the best foods. could anybody tell me what exercises will burn a lot of calories but wont leave me extremely drained or sweaty because i still have a lot of other work. (i currently do tae bo, yoga, and i run on a treadmill once every couple-3 days a mile and a half.) also, any foods that will get you full, but are not loaded w/ calories. right now i drink a glass or water/ orange juice for breakfast, turkey sandwich w/ sunchips and apples for lunch, and chicken soup/ small amount of meat w/ rice/ salad no dressing for dinner. also, just curious, but i was thinking for this period of time while i am working towards my goal, do body shapers really work? also tips for dressing to appear more slim? thanx!

Well im 6’1 250 pounds. I got really out of shape and need a diet or plan that will work to lose weight and gain energy. I also need an exercise plan as far as how much do i walk/run and certain exercises that will help. I thank all of you for your answers and hep!

So I’m 15, 5’11” and 264 lbs.
So a while back I got the Wii gaming system, a nice change from my PS3. I started having fun with the Wii Fit yoga and other exercises. But I am overweight and wanted to get serious, so I bought the Wii Active.
Now the Wii active was nice, so I went on a little diet to help with weight loss.
I ate low carb and mild protein foods. I lost 20 pounds in a little over a week, I thought it was amazing and I had so much confidence.
Then I got a little to cocky and stopped with the exercise and diet. I eventually gained the weight back, which made me feel worthless. So tonight, I did the Wii Active cardio workout for an hour. I was drenched and tired and genuinely felt like I busted my ass trying. I work out like this every two days.
So my question is, am I doing okay so far? If you have any tips or suggestions on something I could do different or improve on, let me know please.
I’m trying to lose at least 30 lbs before school starts in late August, because I want to be more outgoing and confident in myself with other people. Plus, it’s unattractive and I am a very handsome person.
Also, I’m going to a childrens weight doctor tomorrow. The problem is, I used to weigh almost 300 lbs. Then I got taller during puberty, ate correctly and lost the weight with no exercise.
Now I have quite a bit of floppy skin that is unattractive, and some of it doesn’t contain fat.
So I’m sure what all of this excess skin makes me weigh more.

I was just wondering if there’s any easy way to turn make my tummy flat right in time for the new school year. Maybe there are certain exercises to target the abs? (Besides crunches, of course.)
I am just trying to tone my abs. When I look on the web I get all these excerises which require stuff in a gym. I just want some exercises that I can do in my basement and try to tone my abs, especially the lower abs. A workout regiment would be helpful.

i weigh about 240 right now. i started a diet 2 months ago then i weighed about 248. my calorie needs to maintain my weight is about 2600 to lose weight is 2200 and to have major weight loss is about 1600 but i eat about 1200-1500 calories a day. i exercise 5 times a week for an hour. according to a calculator on like caloriesperhour.com i should weight like 230 by now.
i don’t get it.

I just had my son 11 weeks ago and I’m looking to get back into shape as i was before. I don’t want to diet i just want to start eating healthier and exercise while taking care of my son. Keep in mind, I am with my son the majority of the time so i need the exercises to accommodate both of us. I’m more interested in toning up then loosing weight.
