5 mile walk everyday ( i have to because of my huge dog hehe)
30 minutes jogging 3-4x per week
Yoga and pilates 5x per week
And 45 minute bike ride or cross trainer 3x per week
With a healthy, low carb diet, is this a good workout?
I am 5’4 and 178lbs :/

Okay, I REALLY want to shape up for my school year. I am fourteen and according to a BMI calculator, I am at a healthy weight for my age, height, and weight. But, I still feel insecure about my body. I have fat on my thighs & stomach and I aspire to lose about 20 pounds by September. What can I do to tone up those areas? Also, what would be the best weight loss plan or diet for me? Ideally, I would like to keep my boobs and my butt just the way they are. LOL. Right now, I am on a fat-free, sugar-free, and low carb diet but it’s killing me because I can’t eat crap.and then I have almost no energy to work out. Please don’t be mean and give me appropriate answers that answer my questions. Thanks bunches!

The reason why I ask is I just finished doing it and had great results and wondered if anyone else did. I’m on a low carb diet and I lost a bit of weight but never could feel it in my clothes but after 5 days on the detox I finally can feel a weight loss, plus I’ve felt so vibrant and refreshed.

I am on a no carb/super low-carb diet. Strictly meat, eggs, cheese, nuts & salad. It’s hard to shop because meat is very expensive and so is cheese! And i have to buy in bulk since thats all i will be eating everyday.. Those are the main things i love to eat! The grocery stores around here are Walmart, the commissary, Piggly Wiggly, Food Lion, and Kroger (but its farther then i’d like to go).

I just started a low carb diet a few weeks ago. I am seeing tremendous results, but I am running out of ideas for meals and snacks. I am afraid if I make the same things over and over, the lack of variety will reduce my chances of success! I don’t want that to happen. I am obese and want to be more fit and active so that I am around long enough to see my 7 year old son grow up…. Please, help in anyway you can!

I would like to lose weight. I feel like I have to put myself on a "diet" because otherwise I’ll have no clue what I can and can’t eat, and what I should and shouldn’t be doing. Whats the difference between a low carb diet, and going on the Atkins diet? Are they the same? If not, whats better?

I’m confused about what carbs are and what aren’t…They say to eat a low carb diet if you want to lose weight..what are some low carb foods?
Also, is it true that it takes 3 weeks for the body to get in a fat-burning mode? Because I want to lose 5 pounds this upcoming 3 weeks or so.. I read losing 1-2 pounds per week is recommended and healthy right?

I’m trying out this Carbohydrates Addicts diet which is similar to the Atkins diet but one hour of the day I can eat carbs, but after the hour i’m on a no or low carb diet…. any food ideas?? Thanks a ton!

I’m on a low carb diet because i want to lose weight, I run alot and I also lift weights. Now i stopped lifting weights because I didnt want to put on muscle weight just yet. So what kind of workouts should I do to drop the weight?

I’m trying to follow a low carb diet (for hypoglycemia) but I’m also allergic to wheat which makes it a little harder to cook and find simple recipes. Does anyone have any recipes like this that they’ve tried before?
