hello,
I’m sure you’ll get surprised with my answer, but the reality is that sit ups and crunches DO NOT develop abdominal muscles.
The best way to get strong abs is first, to burn fat around them, and THEN, to practise exercises. But these exercises are not the traditional sit ups-crunches everybody knows.
All this theory is clearly explained in a free ebook you can download at the following url.
You’ll find that the most important thing to consider in this way, is to stimulate body metabolism.
I hope you’ll have great benefits reading this book.
Good chear !
Hanging leg lifts. Look ‘em up on the web. You may like them.
What works best for me is I have a foot stool that I sit on and place my feet under the edge of a couch , this lets me go back beyound 90 degrees and works your abs harder to come back past that point .
My favorite ab workouts involve the exercise fitness ball, also known as a Swiss ball. It is largely responsible for the toned 6-pack I have now. You can do modifications of sit-ups (including the powerful sit-up and twist), push-ups, as well as various exercises. My favorites are the two just mentioned and core crunchers.
You can even sit on them instead of a chair, as it causes you to use your back and stomach muscles to stay balance. (exercise while you watch a movie, TV, or work. What could be better
)
I threw in a few great links that also shows you how 10 of the exercises go, including video if you have flash player, as well as other various ball exercises. Find a few you like and make a workout routine. If you get bored, take the next couple you like. 21 days later, you’ll be glad you did.
Hopefully you’ll post some feedback to encourage others.
Diet is absolutely critical to visible abs. You can exercise all you like, or dont like… but if you have body fat.. it will cover those abs.
Here is a list of exercises… give yourself 12 months… and while you are at it… work up a whole body full of manly muscles! http://www.exrx.net/Lists/ExList/WaistWt.html
