Why is it when people are as slender as the Miss Universe Contestants everyone tends to complain?

and yet when such a pagent is aired, very large audiences watch it and its considered and viewed as top news
If such contestants posted their heights and weights, or even non-pagent pictures, in Yahoo! Answers… what type of comments do you these women would recieve?
